MAINTENANCE PACKAGES
Maintenance packages are the heart of our commitment to our customers. This our opportunity to loop all of our services into one package. This allows the company to add and delete services to create the perfect package for their needs. Our customers enjoy this feature as they can not only prove training of their employees but that they are auditing them on a continuous basis to ensure that what they have been trained is being followed and compliance maintained. Also included with a maintenance package will be the consulting services in the event of an accident investigation, minister orders, or work stoppages. All our customers see the incredible value in these packages and we would be happy to discuss this further with you.
TRAINING
Many companies are finding themselves guilty of an offence because of the training requirements within the company. Have you trained the affected employees? Can you confirm the course content? Can they show proof of training? Can you? All of these questions can be answered yes when Cowan Consulting is contracted to assist you. All courses have an employee sign in sheet that the company will receive the original copy. All employees will receive a certification card when appropriate. And the company will receive a wall certificate for those courses when most appropriate to do so.
AUDITING
Auditing allows you the company to solve your problems prior to a visit from the MoL. This is an invaluable tool to maintain control over your workplace before either work stoppages or time sensitive orders are issued. Another benefit to our monthly audit of the workplaces is the supervisors learn very quickly what we are looking for and we will guide them into maintaining a safer and healthier workplace for all your employees
INSPECTIONS
Formal inspections are a more in depth inspection of both the physical conditions as well as the policies and programs that are in use in your workplace. These inspections can be as a response to a workwell audit or an annual inspection to ensure compliance and progress within your firm.
POLICIES
Policy development creates order within your company. A good set of policies determine the path that the company has chosen to follow to achieve compliance. These are a set of expectations that all employees regardless of title are expected to follow and are measurable in the event of disciplinary action.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Once a policy has been set and approved you have completed half of the job. A policy is only a policy if you do not have a plan in place to enact this policy. Cowan Consulting will help to build a plan to perform training, auditing and enforcement within your company.
